Bodegas La Val’s Finca de Arantei 2016has won one of the annual Baco de Oro prizes awarded by the Spanish Wine Tasters’ Union. Only two wineries in the O Condado area have been among the winners of this contest, where the best young spanish wines compete. Bacos de Oro wine tasting is seen as the best ranking of quality of the 2016 harvest at a national level.

This is not the first time Bodegas La Val obtained the  Spanish Wine Tasters’ Union recognition.

In last year’s edition, La Val 2015 was awarded with a golden medal and recently La Val Sobre Lías 2010 won one of the Bacchus de Oro awards, given to the world’s finest wines. On this occasion, the award went to Finca de Arantei, a “Vino the Pago” elaborated with carefully selected grapes from the vines surrounding the winery in Arantei, Salvaterra Parish.
