Since then, a number of changes have been introduced in the vineyard, including regenerative viticulture practices and other initiatives aimed at restoring the vineyard ecosystem, driven by Oliver Weiss, who was named Viticulturist of the Year by Tim Atkin in his R\u00edas Baixas report. These include sheep grazing, planting fruit trees and flowers around the vineyard perimeters, collaboration with universities, and research into reducing the use of herbicides.<br \/>\nThis has been accompanied by renewed momentum in the winery, led by young winemaker Luis Garrido, who joined in spring 2025 and is behind the outstanding results achieved with La Val Albari\u00f1o 2025.
