La Val Gran añada

This wine comes from a selection of the best plots from our estates. Vineyards that extend along the Miño river, from the highest and most granitic areas of Condado do Tea (Taboexa) through the boulder terraces of Salvaterra (Arantei and Porto) and ending near its end in the Atlantic Ocean, in O Rosal (Vilachán). The grapes are harvested by hand in 20 kg boxes. Afterwards, the bunches are stored in cold storage at 10 ºC, and then gently pressed to extract the best must and buds, followed by fermentation with the sowing of the yeasts that the grapes bring from the vineyard in their skins. After devatting, the wine is aged partly in 500 and 600 litre French oak barrels and partly in tanks with its finest lees. Rigorous monitoring of the evolution of the wine to see if the VINTAGE has the characteristics of a GREAT VINTAGE.
